Singapore Airshow 2016 Public Day Transport Advisory

SINGAPORE, 5 February 2016 – Experia Events, organisers of the Singapore Airshow, Asia's largest and one of the most important aerospace and defence exhibitions in the world, will be bringing back the popular Airshow Shuttle for the convenience of all visitors attending Singapore Airshow 2016 during the public days on 20 and 21 February.
Visitors to Singapore Airshow 2016 will also continue to enjoy one-stop security clearance at Singapore Expo before boarding the Airshow Shuttle to Changi Exhibition Centre (CEC) for a faster and smoother experience.
Airshow Shuttle Bus
The first shuttle service departs from Singapore Expo Hall 7 at 7:30am with the last departure at 3:00pm. The return journey from CEC starts at 1:30pm with the last bus departing from CEC at 6:00pm. Shuttle services are at 15-minute intervals and a shuttle schedule with exact timings will be available on-site.
Visitors are strongly encouraged to use the Airshow Shuttle service from Singapore Expo, which is well served by MRT trains and public buses. The Airshow Shuttle will operate from Singapore Expo Hall 7 and will take visitors directly to the shuttle bus bay at CEC. For the return trip, passengers can get on board the service at the Airshow Shuttle bus bay and alight at Singapore Expo.
Please note that security checks will be conducted at the shuttle bus boarding point for visitors taking the Airshow Shuttle. Visitors are advised to travel light to expedite security checks. More information about the Airshow Shuttle is available at: https://www.singaporeairshow.com/
Traveling by Car to the Singapore Airshow
As parking is limited at the Singapore Airshow grounds and congestion is expected in the vicinity, visitors are highly encouraged to take public transportation to the Singapore Airshow. As traffic delays are expected along Changi Coast Road and Aviation Park Road, visitors are encouraged not to drive. Only vehicles with valid car labels will be allowed entry to Aviation Park Road.
Taxi Guidelines for the Singapore Airshow
Visitors taking taxis to the show can alight at the designated areas near the Registration Gateway at CEC. A S$10 location surcharge will be applicable for all taxi journeys originating from CEC. All pre-booked taxis and private car services (eg. Uber, Grabcar etc.) will not be allowed access to Aviation Park Road. Visitors wishing to take a taxi from CEC will need to join the designated queues for taxi services.
Tickets for Singapore Airshow 2016 can be purchased through the official agent, SISTIC, at www.sistic.com.sg, via the ticketing hotline at 6348-5555 or at any SISTIC authorised outlets before the start of the event. Group packages can only be purchased from the SISTIC website or via its ticketing hotline. Ticket sales will not be available on-site at Singapore Expo and CEC.
