He is vice president and professor and of the Civil Aviation Flight University of China (CAFUC). Director of the Joint Management Committee of the Sino-US-French Joint Aero-Engine Maintenance and Training Centre, member of the Expert Review Committee of the Civil Aviation Joint Fund Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and member of the Expert Committee of the Civil Aviation Licensing Examination. His main research interests are condition monitoring and health management of aero-engines, and control technology of turbofan engines with large-containment-ratio.
