Additional buses at Singapore Airshow to ease traffic flow

Singapore, 23 February 2024 – Singapore Airshow 2024 received its highest record of close to 60,000 trade attendees at the Changi Exhibition Centre from 20-23 February 2024. The more than anticipated number of trade attendees resulted in longer lines and waiting times for transportation on the first trade day on 20 February. 

Experia, the organiser of Singapore Airshow 2024, has made adjustments to the traffic scheme to accommodate the increased traffic volume. Since then, traffic flows have been smoother.  

Weekend@Airshow is open to the public from 24-25 February 2024. With the closure of Tanah Merah Coast Road to non-airshow traffic over the weekend, six road lanes will be available, up from the four during the trade days. The two additional lanes will allow for further enhancements, including a dedicated lane for PHVs and taxis. We are committed to enhance the visitor experience and have increased the number of shuttle buses to and from Singapore Expo and they will run at a higher frequency. This Airshow Shuttle service is free with the Weekend@Airshow ticket. We have also worked with the authorities to allow PHVs and taxis access from Changi Coast Road from 7.30am on 24 and 25 February 2024. 

The public is strongly encouraged to travel by the Airshow Shuttle that is included with each Weekend@Airshow ticket. Attendees travelling to Changi Exhibition Centre may board the Airshow Shuttle at Singapore Expo, Hall 5.
